International Essay Contest in Japan

This annual essay contest is organized in an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world's youth in promoting a culture of peace and sustainable development. It also aims to inspire society to learn from the young minds and to think about how each of us can make a difference in the world.

Theme: “A Letter from Myself in 2030”

Imagine what an ideal world ten years from now would be like. Write a letter from yourself in 2030 to your present (2020) self, in which you describe the state of the world, the way people are living, and what you, yourself, are doing in society. In addition, include any important message that you might wish to tell your present self.

Essays must be 700 words or less.

Essays must be original and unpublished. Plagiarized entries will be rejected.

IV INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE and ART COMPETITION

“MY TOWN”

Rules of participation

1. Students create a project in English – an album called “My town”.
2. The aim of the project is to present the students’ city or town in a written and graphical form.
3. The album should contain at least six A4 pages.

Конкурс педагогического мастерства

• 1. Зарегистрируйтесь на сайте с 20 августа по 15 ноября 2019 года.
• 2. Выберите и зарезервируйте одну или несколько тем.
• 3. Составьте планы-конспекты уроков по выбранным темам с использованием пособий «Аверсэв» в процессе занятия. Требования к составлению плана-конспекта урока указаны в Положении о конкурсе.
• 4. Загрузите готовые работы на сайт с 1 по 15 ноября 2019 года. 
• (Количество работ от одного участника не ограничено.)
• 5. Авторы 60 лучших работ будут награждены планшетами Samsung.

Peace Pals International Art Contest

Peace Pals International  has joined in partnership with our sister organization, Goi Peace Foundation of Japan, in this very special art exhibition and awards for 2019/2020, with the theme of Sports and Peace.

Goi Peace Foundation has joined the list of NGOs in Japan who will organize support programs for the upcoming Olympic/Paralympic games which will take place in Japan in 2020.

The Peace Pals International 2020 Awards and Exhibition will be a special program.  We will be collecting artwork between May 1, 2019 through February 15, 2020.  The winners will be announced and exhibited in Japan during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Dates and locations to be announced at a later date.

Please have youth create their artwork with the theme “Sports and Peace.” 

Express Yourself through Sports and Peace. Giving thought as to what peace means to them and how sports can influence peace.  Children must create all artwork.  The theme must include artwork of sports activities.

Size: Horizontal or Vertical design 12.7 cm x 17.7 cm

IMPORTANT: Artwork or writing done by an adult will be disqualified.  Artwork must be original.

Please, submit your artworks to Room №15а by December 31^st.
